Our senior program focuses on four components: balance, a strong core, good flexibility, and overall muscular strength. These components are essential for the body to stay moving properly and to prevent injury. Most of the problems that occur as we get older are a result of things tightening up and not working properly. Injuries start to happen because the bodies muscular system is all out of alignment. We believe exercise should be viewed as a preventive medicine for the body. By starting slow and getting the body to start to moving properly, most problems and pain start to subside or can be prevented entirely. One thing we've seen in our field is that you can never stop exercising, and if you can make it fun and give the body what it needs to work right,it allows us to do all the things we enjoy even as we get older.
